Automatic Monthly Payment (“Autopay”) Authorization

Last updated: November 5, 2024

Applicability

An ACH debit authorization for a recurring EFT to pay the outstanding Pomelo Mastercard® balance from a customer’s bank account.

Recurring Payment for Outstanding Balance

You authorize Pomelo International, Inc. or our payment processor, to initiate electronic debits from the bank account you designated in the “Bank Payment Methods” section under the Account Profile section of the Pomelo App (the “Linked Bank Account”) in the amount equal to your current billing cycle’s Statement Balance minus any additional payments or credits posted to your account before your current billing cycle’s due date (the “Autopay Amount”).

Autopay Timing

Each electronic debit will be initiated each billing cycle on or about three calendar days before the current billing cycle’s due date (the “Autopay Date”). If the Autopay Date falls over a weekend or a bank holiday, we'll initiate the Autopay on or about the next business day. The Autopay may take up to 3 business days to post to your account.

If your current billing cycle’s Autopay Amount on the Autopay Date is $0 or less, we will automatically cancel your current billing cycle’s scheduled Autopay. This Autopay Authorization will automatically restart on the next Autopay Date when your Autopay Amount exceeds $0.

Additional Adjustments and Reminders

You also authorize us to initiate an additional electronic debit or credit within 28 days of the Autopay Date for the Autopay Amount or any necessary amount to correct erroneous transactions in the event an Autopay payment is declined for any reason or we determine a correction is required.

While this Autopay payment authorization is active, Pomelo will email you a payment reminder seven calendar days before the current billing cycle’s due date. If you'd like to adjust your Autopay authorization before the next payment is initiated, you must do so at least one day before the next Autopay Payment Date. To review or modify your Autopay settings, go to the Payoff Tab on your Pomelo App. From there, you will see a toggle labeled Enable Autopay.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for all fees charged by your financial institution associated with the payments. You must update your Linked Bank Account with all changes to your bank account. If you do not update this information and we cannot charge your Linked Bank Account for the Autopay Payment Amount, you may be subject to late fees, and your financial institution may charge you fees.
